Late substitutions for Team members can be made at the start locations on Friday night or Saturday morning.  ie If you have someone who has had to withdraw and that you have a substitute to take their place.

Start Times for each team on each route (Mildura & Echuca) from the Murray River will be sent out to Team Managers on Monday 31 March - via E-mail.  This will also include the Team Start Times from Hamilton on Sunday morning (from 7am).  Please be on Time.  (Note Daylight Saving ends on Sunday 6 April).  This year we will use only 1 Route from Hamilton to Port Fairy - Penshurst / Hawkesdale Route.

Teams with 16 participants or more will be allowed to send 2 vehicles down the Penshurst / Hawkesdale Route if they wish (But your Vehicle MUST Display the PINK Sticker on the top front of the screen) provided in your Team Pack.

All other teams are only allowed 1 vehicle to travel this route to reduce the traffic congestion – (Vicpol Instruction); otherwise all Non-Designated vehicles must travel to Port Fairy via the Macarthur route.

If Teams wish to drop riders down the road using their Non Designated Vehicle, they can do so but must stay in front of the “Lead Vehicle”  ie Leave before 7:00 am

All non-designated vehicles MUST travel down to Port Fairy via the Macarthur Route (Fully Sealed Road).  Please follow the Instructions in your “Official Ride Guide” – Available in your Team Bags.

Remember the Murray to Moyne Cycle Relay is designed to cater for a range of riders and is not a race event.  Ride Directors on each route will schedule a Compulsory Stop to allow the gap between the front and the rear close up.  We aim to keep the gap at less than 60 kilometers. These Stops are listed for Mildura Route - Warracknabeal and Echuca Route - Stawell.  (about 20 to 30 min).  Many use this stop as an opportunity to have Dinner.

The M2M should be an enjoyable event for all so please take notice of the "Ride Officials" including the Motorcycle Marshall’s and Corner Volunteers - as we are all concerned about your safety.

The Murray to Moyne Cycle Relay is organised by a Committee of 12 volunteers, who for the last 38 years have put together this pioneering and unique event. Where else can you ride from one side of the State to the other in 24 hours in safety.

Where else can you ride from the Mighty Murray River, through a stunning landscape and arriving at Australia Felix and the Western Victorian Coastal Town of Port Fairy.

Over 100 Volunteers help us to conduct the M2M - These include our special Motor Cycle Marshall’s, Corner Marshall’s, First Aid Officers, Ride Officials, Ground Crews in Hamilton & Port Fairy. We could not run this event without these volunteers !
